Kushal Khare
Kushal Khare is a sophomore at Valley Christian High School. He enjoys biomedical research and is interested in pursuing a career in molecular genetic pathology. Kushal enjoys exploring a diverse range of topics, especially in molecular medicine, synthetic biology, and pathophysiology, as well as factors correlating to oncogenesis, mutagenesis, and carcinogenesis of cancer. He is academically published and is passionate about ecological sciences and how climate change influences human health. Outside of science, he loves spending time hiking, spending time with family, and playing video games.

José Luis De Los Santos
José Luis De Los Santos is an incoming Biomedical Engineering undergraduate student at Boston University. He is currently interested in pursuing a career in bioengineering and enjoys exploring the diverse and intricate topics of molecular mechanisms of aging, biotechnology, genetic modifications, and biochemical engineering. Outside of academics, he loves outdoor adventures such as canyoneering, scuba diving, kite surfing, and engaging in social services clubs that actively participate in improving the underprivileged Mexican community around him.
José is an Editorial Lead and primarily reviews research in Biochemistry, Genetics, and Genomics, Molecular and Cellular biology, as well as Astronomy

Sonia Lee
Sonia Lee is a sophomore attending Valley Christian High School. She is interested in pursuing a career in medicine and is passionate about changing the public health system for the better. She enjoys exploring topics in areas such as climate change, political science, and cardiology. She leads and participates in her school’s speech and debate program and is dedicated to a nonprofit of her own! Outside of academics, she loves playing tennis and trips to the beach.
Sonia is BioScope’s Operational Manager Head and a General Editor and Fact Checker. She directs all quality control measures, collaboration, and future projects as well as reviews articles pertaining to environmental and global health sciences.

Gold Elue
Gold Elue is a senior at MOT Charter High School. She is interested in pursuing a career in neurosciences or radiology and enjoys exploring a diverse range of topics in biotechnology, microbiology, and neurology in her free time. Outside of academics, Gold loves to play sports like volleyball and enjoys reading books that were recreated into movies.
Gold is an Editor and Fact-Checker and primarily reviews research in Neuroscience and Neurobiology, Microbiology, Human Biology, and Medical Sciences

John Nahmias
John Nahmias is a Junior at American School Foundation in CDMX. He is interested in pursuing a career in aerospace engineering and enjoys exploring a diverse range of topics in physics, math, chemistry, computers, engineering, planes, rockets, and cars in his free time. Outside of academics, John loves to do swimming and karate and enjoys watching anime and reading manga. Additionally, John recently gave a TED talk titled, “The Search for Knowledge.” Check it out here.
John is a Part-time Editor and primarily reviews research which includes engineering, mathematical, and chemical principles and methodologies.
BioScope is a nonprofited peer-reviewed biannual journal, that encourages young scientists and researchers to publish their work to reach a broader audience within the scientific community. Based in San Jose, California, BioScope publishes all forms of research in varying subject areas and promotes the accessibility of valid scientific knowledge across all communities worldwide.
